Jain Dowe

Jain Dowe (They/Them) is a genderfluid dancer, choreographer, burlesque performer and event producer based out of San Francisco, CA. Having grown up in the classical ballet world, they spent four years in a professional ballet and contemporary ballet career that took them across the nation. They put away their pointe shoes and found themselves back home deep in a pile of glitter, costumes, and face paint. Today they perform as a solo burlesque performer, as Poppers Fou in the psychedelic trixtr clown troupe Fou Fou Ha, and dance with neo-vaudeville circus company, Vau de Vire Society. They've picked up their producer hat and produce cabaret events including Anarchy in the T&A: San Francisco's Punk Rock Revue, and Apothecary Raree: San Francisco's Electroswing and Neovintage Cabaret and Dance Party, which currently features every first Friday of the month on the DNA Lounge webcast.
